We are currently recruiting for Electrical Security Technicians to join our Security Division in the Leinster region on a full time, permanent contract of employment. The successful applicant will be involved in the commissioning and installation of equipment while also conducting comprehensive maintenance and servicing solutions to a variety of clients, from simple standalone systems to large multi-site integrated solutions.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for the installation, configuration and commissioning of CCTV systems
- Manage the customer interface by conducting customer service calls and relay information to customers in terms of outcomes and recommendations
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance checks on systems and produce system status reports
- Complete job sheets and reports for service calls
- Carry out workshop repairs and liaise with suppliers on faults and warranty issues
- Complete reports for workshop repairs
- Assemble and modify equipment and systems
- Participate in the preparation of safe working plans, method statements and risk assessments
- Provide on-site support and operation for clients as required
- Support the Security Division in promoting a culture of excellent customer service and establishing exceptional working relationships with both your colleagues and the client
- Act as a brand ambassador and lead the Company through its ongoing expansion
- Any other duties as deemed necessary for the efficiency of the business
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on the installation and configuration of CCTV systems with an understanding of IP networks
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with intruder alarms and Access control
- An in-depth knowledge of the products and systems currently available within the industry
- Must have exceptional customer service skills with the ability to liaise with customers directly while demonstrating a commitment to providing quality customer service
- Health & Safety awareness with an understanding of the legislation and standards required
- Proficient IT and network skills with proven experience using a variety of software
- Motivated self-starter, who can work both independently or as part of a team
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines and prioritise their own workload
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluent English
