We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Site Supervisor to join our Projects Division in the Leinster region on a full time, permanent contract of employment. The successful applicant will be involved in the co-ordination and operation of the site/s on a daily basis, managing the customer interface while participating in physical work and sharing their broad knowledge and specialist perspective through the management of small to medium sized projects.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders
- Manage client concerns and ensure they are dealt with in a thorough and timely manner
- Lead, develop and retain staff while ensuring the delivery of an efficient & effective service
- Deliver the SLA in accordance with the agreed programme of qualitative checks & controlled measures while rectifying any identified deviations to ensure the maximum profitable growth of the business will be developed through an understanding of the client’s needs, maximising the quality of the service delivered and championing exceptional customer care and service
- Comply with all statutory, IMS, security and health & safety Sensori FM and client policies
- Support both customer and Company audits, ensuring that optimum results are achieved
- Assist in the establishment of systems for the purpose of monitoring and control over all critical service points with the objective of maximising customer satisfaction, minimising the number of customer complaints and any other potential adverse feedback
- Manage & authorise staffing requirements on site (i.e. overtime) and notify the HR Department of any unscheduled absences. Staffing requirements should be documented & reviewed weekly
- Ensure that records are maintained and updated as required
- Organise and facilitate regular customer forums and meetings with all relevant stakeholders
- Interact with all internal parties to monitor the consistent, effective and efficient delivery of both planned and reactive tasks and in doing so, support best practice
- Ensure that a Continuous Improvement Process is an integral part of the service delivered as this increasingly adds value to both the business and our client
- Ensure that all new employees receive induction training in line with the Company’s policies and procedures
- As per Company policy, complete performance reviews and Toolbox Talks
- Generate and issue monthly reports as required by the Project Manager
- Act as a brand ambassador and lead the Company through its ongoing expansion
- Any other duties as deemed necessary for the efficiency of the business
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
- QQI FETAC Level 6 Advanced Certificate (or equivalent) – Craft: Plumbing or Fitter
- Minimum of 5 years’ extensive experience in a fast-paced construction environment
- In-depth knowledge of the Mechanical, Electrical and Construction industries is essential
- Proven leadership capabilities with solid commercial and financial awareness
- Excellent people management skills while delivering exceptional customer service
- Proven health & safety awareness with a thorough understanding of quality systems
- Experience with CAFM & BMS systems while possessing asset management knowledge
- Strong understanding of financial and budgetary control (labour and subcontractors)
- Proficient in IT literacy with the ability to collate and generate detailed site reports
- Exceptional time management skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Exposure to Facilities Management and or Engineering/Construction environments crucial
- Proven experience in a similar role
